Cleaning & Care

Our products can be cleaned using a mild soap and water on a weekly basis.

To soften mineral deposits on tubs and shower bases with a natural cleaner, use a water and vinegar solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners as they can cause irreversible damage to the acrylic items.

For a natural cleaner on your acrylic products, we suggest wetting baking soda with water to form a paste. Rub the paste on a sponge or brush to clean. For stubborn stains, let the cleaner sit for an hour.

Regular disinfections provide an effective defense against various types of bacteria susceptible of developing in the deposits that build up over time in all bathtubs and showers.

For daily cleaning, use a moist cloth and gentle liquid detergent.

For acrylic surfaces, occasional use of a special acrylic surface cleaner will add luster and protect the finish. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scrapers, metal brushes, or any items or products that could scratch or dull the surface.

Paint stains: Use either turpentine or paint thinner.

Joint Compound: Use a plastic or wood spatula covered with a damp cloth. Do not use a metal blade or a metal brush. If a rubber mat is used, it must be removed immediately after each use.

Ignoring this recommendation will cause damage not covered by the warranty.

Cleaning Shower Doors

Cleaning excess water with a squeegee or sponge after each use will greatly lessen the cleaning required on your shower door overtime.

You may wish to try using:

  • 8 oz. (1 cup) of warm vinegar
  • 8 oz. (1 cup) of Dawn

Put the vinegar in the microwave for about two minutes to get it warm.  Then mix the vinegar and the Dawn in a spray bottle.  Spray the mixture on the glass and scrub with a sponge.  Wipe clear.
